Wafer loves school!

Every time we are doing school work, Wafer decides he wants to join us. He doesn't just join us, he takes over! No matter what I am reading or working on, he finds that exact spot in the book to decide to lounge. You guys think it's hilarious but I find it a bit distracting. Especially when he is snoozing in the middle of the history lesson for the day!

Even you wanted to get out your camera the day I decided to take a picture of his annoying habit.

Continuing on with school work as if all is normal. Well, it is normal because this is usually where Wafer is napping if school is happening!

I just hope he knows his spelling words as well as you guys!

The many faces of Brady

You guys were unloading the dishwasher and playing around in the kitchen one day and I picked up my camera and started snapping. What happened was a plethora of moods, emotions and faces of Brady!

You wearing my old cheerleading tshirt from high school. Looks much better on you my boy and I'm glad it has turned into your favorite sleep shirt. And, I love your long hair!

You and your brother getting all silly with the pots and pans!

And then you turned on your charm to the camera. Work it boy!

We had a fun time being totally silly. I love you Brady boo!

Time out in time out!

You boys got to go to a birthday party at a bounce place back in March for Tyler's birthday. Unfortunately, you got a little too adventurous and fell off the house and hit head first. It was quite scary especially since I saw you fall and you were about five feet up when you fell. You got up with a big bump to the head and seemed a little disoriented so I decided it would be best to take you to the ER to be checked out. The good Lord was definitely watching over my baby because after a few hours in the ER and a head CT, we were told you were okay.

While you were in the ER, the Robertson's offered to keep Bennett at the party and take him home with them so he wouldn't have to go to the ER with us. Your dad was out of town so I agreed that would probably be for the best.

Well, it ended up being a long night for everyone. Bennett stayed awake til midnight until we picked him up and brought him home. The next day, he was a bear to be around. I don't even remember what he did, but whatever it was landed him in time out. I think he might have been sitting in the time out chair for maybe five minutes when he crashed! I just had to take a picture of the moment when he took a time out in time out!

Bennett is not one to just fall asleep anywhere so this was a very rare incident!

While he slept, you thought it was funny and decided to lay down in your time out chair so I could take a picture of you "sleeping" too. I took the opportunity to snap a shot of your noggin. Even though it looks all fine now, you can still see the carpet impressions on your forehead. It looks like a rug burn but it's really the impression from the carpet fibers. I'm so glad that his guardian angel wasn't in time out and was looking over
you!

And while you both took a break, so did Belle!

A note on the door

You and your brother share a room. Sometimes you get on each other's nerves. Case in point, take a look at this note you put on your bedroom door. Now I'm pretty sure you meant that you did not want your brother to come in the room however, with little loud mouth Bennett, it could mean that you don't want him to be loud. I'm thinking either way, Bennett did not oblige this request!

Skating

You got to go to Cody's birthday party at the skating rink. They had these walkers that you could use when you skated. You tried so hard to do it on your own but skating is hard work. Look at you all sweaty and red faced!

Scout bank tour

One of the fun things you did with the Tigers this year was to go on a bank tour.

You got to see the bank vault.

The drive through up close and personal.

And the bank gave each of you a goody bag and a piggy bank with candy. This picture of you guys even made it in the local newspaper!

You enjoyed the tour but it did not make you want to be a banker!

Spring Break with the So Chi's!

We spent our Spring Break this year with my So Chi girlfriends at the beach . This was the first time you have ever got  to come along on one of our trips. You guys loved meeting the girls and you met some new friends. We spent lots of time on the beach.

You let the girls  bury you in the sand. Ewww, all the places the sand could go!

Yours, Bennett's & Elizabeth's sand village.

The non-mommies were so sweet to you kids. They played and danced with you and even brought each of you a goody bag.

We rented a house with a heated swimming pool. Bonus! You guys used it enough to be well worth the money.

Walking over to get some ice cream in the evening. Love you boys wanted to hold the SoChi's hands.

Friends and ice cream! Does it get any better?

Being around all girls was bound to bring out the cheerleader in my boys!

Who says a girl can't look cool with a little facial hair? Moustaches appeared and we had a good ol' time!

Dance off time!

How low can you go?!?!

Because Lisa was turning 40 this year, she decided her goal was to run a 5K before her 40th. A few of the girls decided to join her. We waited at the finish line for the girls to cross.

The So-Chi's and Chicklets!

Our tshirts were designed by your cousin, Cory. I came up with the design and he created it. I wanted eight girls in a circle holding hands around a wine glass. The wine glass is made out of our dear friend Pam's initials. It turned out great! When I handed out the tshirts to everyone, the little girls got so excited and yelled, "Does this mean we are SoChi's and can come on all the trips now?" A very, quick and loud "NO!" was heard from the Mom's!

After the race, we headed over to Fudruckers for some lunch. While we were there, we got to watch the Alligator show.

You got a fierce dragon tattoo just for the fun of it.

We went out to dinner for Mexican one night.

I love this pic of you and my old college roomie, Cherry Pie!

Wonderful new friends and wonderful new memories were made on this trip!
